We do not charge our trades to be in our Trades Pool, but they do have to obey our code of conduct, produce quality work, and uphold our agreements. FairTradeWorks is a service for residential and commercial clients who are building new structures or renovating.

FairTradeWorks guarantees all workmanship for 12 months from install. Under our contract, all work will be performed under the municipal permit system and will be inspected by City officials.

In addition, all work will be inspected by our highly experienced construction Advisors throughout the project to make sure the highest standards of our company are upheld.

We heavily screen all of our trades to ensure only the most qualified and skilled people are permitted to operate under the FairTradeWorks system.

All trades are checked to ensure they have current WorkSafe BC coverage, hold the required liability insurance, and maintain current police background checks.

Note: All appliances and materials fall under the manufacturer’s warranties.

We believe you should know how we make our profit, so we break down your estimate line-by-line. We have NO hidden fees. After putting your project out to tender, our professional estimating team ensures all details and costs are covered before creating the final cost estimate. Our overhead, profit, and professional management fee are clearly broken down on the estimate. The result of all this is complete transparency and accuracy. Yes, all of our clients are given a schedule showing the estimated time it will take to complete their project. Our Client Care & Design Manager also ensures contracts include start and end dates on all projects. To improve the client construction experience, we ensure we keep everyone in the construction process aware of all schedules and budgets.
